YOUR MISSION:
Ensure the company's tax compliance with current federal, state, and municipal legislation through the strategic and operational management of direct and indirect tax obligations. Act as a strategic partner to the finance and business areas, promoting tax risk mitigation, tax efficiency, and supporting decision-making, thereby contributing to the financial sustainability and growth of the business. Additionally, the individual will assist in leading the Tax Reform project.
KEY RESPONSILITIES:
Validate the calculation and payment of indirect taxes (PIS, COFINS, IPI, ICMS, ICMS ST, ISS, and withheld taxes), considering the fiscal complexity of the retail sector.
Validate ancillary obligations, such as EFD ICMS IPI, EFD Contributions, Reinf, DCTF, DIRF, and other departmental deliverables.
Coordinate the update and compliance of fiscal registrations for products and suppliers, especially regarding the correct application of taxation (NCM, CST, CFOP, and all related codes).
Collaborate with all areas and brands to ensure the correct application of tax legislation in operations.
Monitor changes in tax legislation that impact the company's business segment.
Manage fiscal inspections, audits, and administrative processes with tax authorities.
Lead initiatives for reviewing and optimizing tax processes, seeking opportunities for credit recovery and risk mitigation.
Manage and monitor fiscal parameterization within systems.
Manage and develop the tax team, fostering a collaborative environment of continuous learning.
Develop management reports and fiscal performance indicators to support the board.
Manage and monitor the entire implementation of fiscal changes resulting from the Tax Reform.
