MAIN PURPOSE
The HR Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient day-to-day HR operations across the employee lifecycle.
The role manages core HR administration, employee data and HR system transactions, payroll preparation, and temporary staff administration. The position also supports Compensation & Benefits activities and headcount and personnel cost management in close collaboration with the HR Manager, Finance, and Richemont HR Operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle Management
- Manage day-to-day HR operations across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, transfers, organizational and compensation changes, leaves, and offboarding.
- Prepare and maintain employment contracts, employee documentation, and personnel records.
- Process and maintain accurate employee data in Workday, SAP, and internal HR systems.
- Manage the administration of temporary and agency staff, including contracts, onboarding and offboarding, assignment extensions, headcount tracking, and agency cost monitoring.
- Provide operational support for international assignees and expatriates and serve as a point of contact for general HR-related inquiries.
2. C&B and Budget Management Support
- Support recurring C&B activities, including salary reviews, monthly payroll and employee benefits.
- Prepare regular headcount and personnel cost reports and ensure data consistency across HR systems, payroll, and Finance records.
- Support headcount and HR budget planning, forecasting, and cost tracking in collaboration with the HR Manager and Finance.
- Monitor actual headcount and personnel costs against budget and support variance analysis and management reporting.
- Prepare compensation, headcount, and cost data to support business and HR decision-making.
3. HR Process & HRBP Support
- Support recurring HR processes, including performance reviews, and engagement initiatives.
- Prepare employee communications, guidelines, reports, and other HR materials.
- Provide administrative and data support to the HRBP for employee and organizational matters.
- Support the continuous improvement of HR processes, data accuracy, and operational efficiency
KEY COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum three years of hands-on experience in HR operations.
- Experience in a junior C&B role, HR budget and personnel cost management, or payroll operations is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in HR administration and data management.
- Well-organized, hands-on, and able to manage multiple priorities and recurring deadlines.
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and confidentiality.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in both Korean and English.
