Boutique Director, West Coast Special Projects

Role Overview
Responsible for overall management of the boutique, associates, merchandise and customer service. The Boutique Director is the Delvaux Ambassador, responsible for promoting the brand to clients & partners. Also responsible for achieving sales objectives, store profitability goals, achieving and maintaining high operation and merchandising standards, building highly motivated teams and developing associates.
Responsibilities
Brand Promotion
Participates in developing the notoriety of the house and to build brand awareness in market; embodies Delvaux in the city
Build and develops a network of people who have an impact on local, national and international luxury business in order to promote customer loyalty, especially with top clients and VIPs
Promotes the culture of the brand internally and externally
Ensures store atmosphere upholds brand image
Business Development
Develop store business plan to include marketing and promotional strategies that will continue to drive traffic to the store and develop and grow the customer base, with particular emphasis placed on building the local market
Be aware of the local market and business environment, including competitors' business activities and luxury goods market trends
Make recommendations for store renovations/upgrade/expansion etc to increase sales and market share
Sales Management
Continuously motivate and coach sales associates to meet assigned sales & productivity goals
Demonstrate sales leadership for staff by playing an active role on the selling floor
Proactively manage the clienteling function in the store
Ensure that all associates are knowledgeable of all company products, company information and history; stay up to date with company news
Ensure employees are provided with product knowledge to enhance and ensure cross-selling across categories
Provide feedback on product assortment, buying trends and customer requests
Team Management
Identifies, recruits, develops and retains best in class talent
Coach, develop, motivate and challenge the team on a regular basis by:
creating a team spirit, team animation through regular meetings
Sets individual objectives with each team member and supports them in reaching them. Regularly conducts performance conversations
Create development plans for sales staff and management
Supervise store personnel and enforce company policies while adhering to proper procedure regarding disciplinary action
Operations
Effective utilization of POS system and its inventory management function
Provide daily, weekly, monthly qualitative and quantitative business reports
Determine staffing needs and create staff schedules to ensure appropriate store coverage and match traffic
Complete all store administration in an accurate and timely fashion
Profit and Loss responsibility for the store, with particular attention given to controlling expenses, sales plan and operating profit
Ensure compliance with all internal control procedures: maintain inventory accuracy
Maintain the highest standard of housekeeping and organization both on and off the sales floor
Maintain visual merchandising standards and store conditions as set forth by corporate visual department
Perform other projects, as assigned
Customer Service
Ensure the highest level of customer service every day and the greater selling ceremony
Support sales associates with After Sales Service issues, i.e. return, defective merchandise, repairs
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years’ successful previous experience in a managerial role within the luxury field including Concession Store Experience
Entrepreneur with experience of people management, coaching a team to build a high-performance culture – leader, dedicated to support and develop the team
Operationally strong, able to translate strategies into operational plans
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to build relationships across all levels of the organization
Commercially Minded with an extensive understanding of the Luxury Market with a strong background within Client Development and recruitment

Expected Salary Range: $115,000 - $140,000
Salary will be determined based on relevant skills and experience.
