Richemont owns some of the world’s leading luxury goods Maisons, with particular strengths in jewellery, fine watches and premium accessories. Each Maison represents a proud tradition of style, quality and craftsmanship and Richemont seeks to preserve the heritage and identity of each of its Maisons. At the same time, we are committed to innovation and designing new products which are in keeping with our Maisons’ values, through a process of continuous creativity.

In close collaboration with the various domain leads and data product owners, you will qualify needs and build solutions within GCP accordingly.

Key Responsibilities During Your Journey

  • Transformation and Data Cleaning: A significant part of the role involves taking raw, often messy, data from diverse sources and processing it. This includes cleaning, structuring, and transforming it into "reliable data products" – meaning data that is accurate, consistent, and ready for analysis or consumption by other systems.
  • Data Quality Assurance: You will be responsible for implementing tests to ensure the quality and reliability of the data flowing through the pipelines. This is crucial for maintaining trust in the data and the insights derived from it.
  • Data Product Documentation: To ensure clarity and accessibility across the organization, you will document the data products you create. This documentation will cover aspects like data definitions, dimensions, key figures, and usage guidelines, fostering a shared understanding.

As a Member Of the Process Excellence Team, You Will

  • Apply software engineering best practices to analytics (version control, testing, continuous integration).
  • Propose, transform, and automate non-value-added processes.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE?

  • University degree in computer science, data science, finance, maths/ physics or comparable work experience.
  • 4+ years working in comparable engineering roles.
  • Strong programming skills in SQL and Python and experience with Cloud Services (preferably in GCP).
Our Tech Stack includes: BigQuery for data storage, Terraform for Infrastructure as Code, Docker, Cloud Run and Kubernetes for computing, Airflow for orchestration, and GitLab for CI/CD.
  • Prior experience with data visualization and data analysis tools such as Looker would be an advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills: Fluent in English, French is a plus.
