MAIN PURPOSE
Richemont is looking for a talented Group Technology Program Manager to help our luxury Maisons during their digital transformation journey, with a specific focus on Client & Market domain and its products.
The Client & Market domain comprises product areas covering Retail, Wholesale, E-Commerce, Client journeys, Online Customer services, Order Management systems, Omnichannel content, among others.
The Program Managers will work in a global environment with highly distributed teams in different countries and time zones and at different management levels. They will be joining a distributed team delivering program management services, as well as other impactful transversal services, as Quality Assurance and Test Management, Release Management coordination, and Business Relationship management.
They will be focusing on the orchestration and coordination of programs or set of technological delivery, structured in assigned “initiatives” and on the alignment with related delivering Product organizations.
In specific situations, a Program Manager may be delegated and act as embedded resource within a given Product organization and will therefore follow the respective ceremonies and instances in agreement with related Product Area Manager.
They will apply a defined and evolving documented methodology and set of best practices around Quality Assurance and management of deliverables. They will take active participation on continuous improvement of these ways of working and within a Community of Practices, in the team and the domain.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Orchestration & Coordination of Programs
- Align with the Product organisations and act as key contributor to ceremonies such as Quarterly Alignment Days (Product PI Plannings)
- Act as a Group Technology key point of contact for Business & Maisons' stakeholders.
- Coordinate all phases -from initiation (“kick-off”) -to post-delivery in production (”closing”)
- Identify, anticipate, analyse and mitigate risks and issues and escalate when required.
- Ensure budget adherence by tracking program initiative actuals and ensure they are aligned with latest estimates
- Report plans, progress, issues and risks as required by Group Technology and domain practices
If assigned as Embedded resource in a Product Area
- Act as a direct support to Product Area Manager, in interactions with key roles of the product area. Lead and facilitate related action plans.
- Promote standard ways of working, and act as a facilitator for process optimizations, towards improved efficiency and agility.
- Serve as key point of contact to ensure the control of the domain Portfolio elements, including for reporting and escalation purposes.
- Leverage operationally Quality Assurance, Release Management and Business Relationship Management services in the product area.
Ways of working & Continuous improvement
- Thoroughly apply Richemont compliance and security requirements across initiatives.
- Apply Group Technology & domain methodology and best practices, especially around Quality Assurance and readiness of deliverables.
- As part of his/her assignment – or additionally to support a specific need for coordination, a Program manager may as well be coordinating Requests for Proposals with domain stakeholders and partners. Following internal procedures and Vendor strategy oriented best practices will be key.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
- 3+ years’ experience in Technology Project/Program Management with significant Quality Assurance aspects.
- Proven technical project management with strong interpersonal, and communication skills and high attention to detail. Project Management certification is recommended.
- Experience in leading and delivering related integration projects/programs, preferably with omnichannel dimensions, from initial study to production stabilization.
- Experience in software architecture and development lifecycle, in combined technology and functional environment.
- Experience in integrated technologies related to E-Commerce and online technologies.
- Experience in integrated Retail and/or CRM, and/or Customer Services and/or Wholesale technologies is suitable as well.
- Hands on experience with technology concepts such as APIs, micro-services, SaaS / Cloud hosting, OMS (e.g., Fluent), CRM (e.g., Salesforce platform), ERP (e.g., SAP), are a plus.
- Knowledge of agile, waterfall and hybrid methodologies.
- Ability to communicate with technical, business teams (all levels) and stakeholders.
- Fluent English is required, other languages are a plus (e.g., Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Chinese).
- Flexibility to travel abroad on periodic basis (e.g., Geneva probable, other destinations possible depending on assignments).
- Experience with Confluence and Jira are a plus.
