YOUR MISSION: Ensure the implementation of operational plans for the department, with reference to production planning, purchasing of goods and services, internal distribution towards plants, and external distribution to storage centers and final clients. Manage available resources and existing procedures. Support the identification of improvement areas aimed at optimizing performance of activities, with a view to improving managed processes and the relevant impact on logistic activities in general. Define and agree upon short-term production programs to harmonize sales and production requirements, while ensuring minimization of stocks. Identify raw and miscellaneous materials requirements to draw up focused purchasing programs. Provide useful elements to draw in the investments budget. Ensure purchasing of goods and services on the basis of assigned programs and in the framework of defined agreements. HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT? - Implement operational plans for the department, focusing on production planning, procurement of goods and services, internal distribution to plants, and external distribution to storage centers and final clients. - Manage resources and procedures to optimize performance and improve logistic activities. - Define and agree on short-term production programs to align sales and production requirements while minimizing stock levels. - Identify requirements for raw and miscellaneous materials to develop targeted purchasing programs. - Contribute to the investment budget by providing relevant elements. - Ensure the procurement of goods and services according to assigned programs and within defined agreements. - Execute planning activities within a defined framework/system, considering dependencies on other processes/units. - Achieve specific goals for the area of responsibility by working within an established supplier management plan or identifying ways to enhance it. - Manage inventory for a major site or large factory, following procedures to identify and resolve issues. - Achieve procurement goals or support others by adhering to established procurement systems and protocols. - Supervise and monitor the team's work to ensure proper implementation of processes and procedures, and achievement of defined objectives and standards. - Oversee daily warehouse and store tasks, using and reviewing procedures to recommend improvements for appropriate storage and recording of goods and supplies. - Manage daily transportation of goods and supplies, reviewing procedures and recommending improvements for timely delivery. - Identify shortcomings and suggest improvements to existing processes, systems, and procedures, delivering a plan for a small element of a change management program with guidance from a project/program manager. - Respond to personal objectives and use performance management systems to enhance personal performance; monitor team performance, allocate work, review completion, take corrective action to ensure timeliness and quality, and contribute to formal performance management and appraisal. - Assign short-term work schedules to subordinates to meet expectations within established timelines. - Provide coaching to team members to develop their skills. - Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level. - Experienced practitioner capable of working unsupervised. - Experience in general supervision of junior colleagues.
