Richemont is seeking a highly skilled Group International Mobility Manager to support the execution of our international mobility practice. In this role, you will ensure the smooth and compliant relocation of employees across international borders, enhancing operational excellence and the overall experience for our mobile population and Group entities.
You will manage all aspects of the international assignment lifecycle, adhering to company policies, legal requirements, and best practices. Reporting to the Head of Global Mobility, you will support the translation of strategic framework designs into seamless, day-to-day processes, reinforcing governance and consistency, and expertly managing international assignments with a strong focus on policy application and compliance.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
In this role, you will position International Mobility as a strong operational and business-enabling capability for HR, combining delivery excellence, stakeholder partnership, mobility governance, and continuous improvement.
In Particular, You will:
- Own the end-to-end delivery of international mobility assignments (e.g., long-term assignments, short-term assignments), ensuring accurate, consistent, and timely execution.
- Provide expert guidance and support on international mobility policies, benefits, and processes to assignees, their families, and business stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for our business stakeholders throughout the entire assignment lifecycle.
- Interpret Group International Mobility policies and guidelines, ensuring consistent and fair application across the organization.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to international mobility.
- Coordinate and manage relationships with external vendors, including tax advisors.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met, guaranteeing efficient and effective service delivery.
- Stay abreast of global immigration, tax, and social security regulations relevant to international assignments.
- Collaborate closely with legal and tax departments to ensure compliance and proactively mitigate risks.
- Partner with HR Business Partners and Compensation & Benefits teams to prepare comprehensive assignment cost projections and compensation packages.
- Provide comprehensive support to assignees and their families, addressing queries and concerns related to relocation, cultural adjustment, and integration, fostering a positive employee experience.
- Maintain accurate records and data within international mobility management systems.
- Prepare insightful reports and analyses on assignment costs, trends, and compliance metrics to support decision-making.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing expert advice, training, and support to HR Teams and business on international mobility topics.
- Contribute to and support the continuous improvement, optimization, simplification, and automation of international mobility processes, tools, and guidelines to enhance scalability, efficiency and sustainable delivery across teams.
- Leverage project management methodologies and Agile principles to drive the delivery of mobility enhancements, ensuring alignment between business priorities, capacity, and execution.
- Promote effective communication and understanding of international mobility policies and processes.
- Actively participate in and contribute to international mobility projects and strategic initiatives.
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, International Relations, Law, or a related field (Master's a plus).
- 5+ years of solid experience in international mobility management, with a strong understanding of various assignment types, policies, and compliance (tax, social security, immigration) in a complex international environment.
- A solid grasp of international mobility trends, best practices, and regulatory frameworks.
- In-depth expertise in international tax implications for assignees and the company, including tax equalization, hypothetical tax, gross-up, social security agreements, and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions.
- Understanding employment law, data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR), and other legal aspects relevant to international assignments
- Excellent client focus, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and cultures.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and proven adaptability in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated capability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with international assignments.
- Proven project management skills, able to lead or significantly contribute to international mobility projects.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., SAP, Workday) and international mobility management software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluent in English; French is an asset.
