Role Summary:

You will play a critical role in safeguarding the Group's stock and ensuring the integrity of our operations. You will be responsible for leading and enhancing the operational control environment across retail, e-commerce, and logistics. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of sales flows, and the ability to drive compliance and efficiency initiatives within a luxury retail context. You will act as a key partner to local and European teams, ensuring adherence to Maison and local policies and procedures, and fostering a culture of control and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Operations & Payment Systems:
    • Ensure the proper functioning, compliance, and security of all payment methods and cash collection processes for both boutique and e-commerce teams.
    • Provide ad-hoc support and expert guidance to boutique and e-commerce teams on financial operational matters, ensuring adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
    • Prepare and analyze data and reports to provide insights to management in regards to operational effectiveness & compliance.
    • Support the month-end and annual financial closing processes.
  • Stock Management & Inventory Control:
    • Oversee and manage all aspects of stock control for retail, e-commerce, and logistics, including the planning and execution of cycle counts, annual physical inventories, stock adjustments, and consignment management.
    • Monitor goods in transit and virtual sites/storage locations to ensure accuracy, security, and proper control.
    • Develop and implement robust procedures to minimize stock discrepancies and enhance inventory accuracy.
  • Project Management & Harmonization:
    • Act as a lead within the E-commerce Europe community, driving harmonization and efficiency in finance operations and facilitating the resolution of pain points.
    • Coordinate and manage the roll-out of projects and initiatives impacting e-commerce Order-to-Cash (OTC) and stock flows.
  • Digitalization & Automation:
    • Drive and implement digitalization and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and control effectiveness.
    • Identify opportunities to leverage technology for improved monitoring, reporting, and process optimization.

Your Profile:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Internal Audit, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIA, CISA, ACCA, CPA) are highly desirable.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in internal control, compliance, audit, or finance roles, preferably within a complex retail or luxury goods environment.
    • Demonstrated experience with stock management, inventory control, and financial operations in a multi-channel (retail, e-commerce) setting.
    • Proven track record in project management and driving process improvements.
    • Familiarity with e-commerce operations and related financial flows.
    • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is a strong asset.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify key risks.
    • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
    • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Dutch or French, is an advantage.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills.
