YOUR MISSION: Perform one or more polishing operations in accordance with quality, time and safety requirements. HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT? - Perform polishing operations adhering to quality, time, and safety standards. - Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment for emergency repairs; execute preventive maintenance routines. - Assist in site-maintenance activities and support the installation of complex systems. - Conduct equipment inspections with guidance, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. - Follow mandatory procedures and methods of work, including the use of personal protective equipment, to safeguard the environment and well-being of self and others. - Perform complex analyses, quality tests, and inspections requiring independent judgment. - Develop and adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory codes. Obtain supervisor or manager authorization for any deviations from mandatory procedures. - Implement and provide feedback on improvements in manufacturing methods and processes. - Extract and input relevant data into spreadsheets or standard formats. - Utilize the internal communications system to access specific information as requested. - Organize work schedules, coordinate with support services, and assign short-term tasks as necessary. - Participate in assessment and development planning activities, as well as formal and informal training and coaching, to maintain and enhance process or technical skills. - Post-Secondary Non-Tertiary Education required. - Sound experience and understanding of straightforward procedures or systems. - Limited managerial experience.
