As the Workforce Management (WFM) Optimization Specialist, you will be central to Richemont Australia's critical project to enhance and optimize its Kronos system.

This fixed-term role (in place through to the end of March) is responsible for implementing key improvements, reconfiguring the system, and establishing essential documentation and training frameworks. Your expertise will directly ensure robust operational processes, superior data quality, and strong internal capability, proactively strengthen our compliance framework and streamline operations for sustained WFM excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

System Resolution & Reconfiguration

  • Conduct comprehensive system analysis of Workforce Management (WFM) configurations and identifying root causes for system concerns.
  • Based on identified issues, reconfigure Kronos to align with current business requirements and best practices, specifically addressing misconfigurations related to award rules, penalty rates, overtime logic, and multi-state complexities to mitigate compliance risks.
  • Document and report WFM system concerns, ensuring clear communication and tracking of issues.
  • Collaborate closely with Kronos and regional HRIS on system enhancements, upgrades, and configuration change requirements.
  • Resolve WFM system-related concerns for Boutiques and operational units through troubleshooting, guidance, and solution implementation. Leverage a strong understanding of end-user issues to create solutions that improve employee experience and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure Kronos configuration and data integrity to meet Fair Work record-keeping obligations and support compliance with regulations such as casual conversion and biometric data privacy.

Documentation & Process Establishment

  • Establish, optimize, and document Workforce Management (WFM) processes and best practices, creating a standardized and efficient operational framework. Define clear roles and accountabilities for all parties involved in WFM end-to-end operations.
  • Support internal capability development through ongoing knowledge transfer throughout the project, and ensure effective project transitions to the Operations team to maintain continuous business operations

Training & Capability Building

  • Create and update training plans, materials, and documentation that empower users and drive optimal utilization of the Kronos system and its new processes.
  • Formulate and execute an implementation plan to embed optimized WFM processes and system usage, thereby laying a strong foundation for future internal WFM capability and sustained self-sufficiency.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven expertise as a Workforce Management specialist, with a strong focus on Kronos system optimization and configuration.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, analyse, and resolve complex system issues.
  • Experience in developing and implementing foundational documentation, processes, and training materials.
  • Strong understanding of WFM best practices and Australian and New Zealand legislative compliance requirements (e.g., Fair Work Act, Privacy Act).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a project-driven environment.
