MAIN PURPOSE
This position receives, stores, and distributes materials, equipment, and products within the Richemont Distribution Centre.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for receiving, unpacking and put away of inbound shipments.
Reads customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed or shipped.
Moves materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
Operate materials handling equipment (MHE) to transfer, put away and pick products to and from the storage locations.
Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or relocates orders to a holding area for packing.
Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program.
Assists in counting of physical inventory.
Weighs or counts items for distribution within the warehouse to ensure conformance to company standards.
Arranges stock in specified sequence.
Perform value added services on products such as labeling, recording serial numbers and repacking.
Prepares parcels for shipping (packing and labeling)
Keeps warehouse and work area clean and organized at all times.
Carries out ad-hoc maintenance duties as required.

Complete physical reception and put away stock as per SLA.
Pick and pack products to be dispatched within the company’s performance guidelines.
Accuracy
Maintain 100% accuracy for products to be picked, packed and dispatched.

REQUIREMENTS
One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Experience in SAP and operating material handling equipment (MHE) is an added advantage
May be required to work overtime and shifts as required.
