Richemont Americas | Encasing Technician Course (ETC)
At the North America Institute of Swiss Watchmaking, we offer a unique opportunity for everyone to pursue a career in the prestigious field of watchmaking. Our program is designed to unlock your potential, grow your skills, and prepare you for success in the world of watchmaking.
Encasing Technician
The Encasing Technician Course is a 4-month program that teaches students the necessary skills in micromechanics and basic watch encasing service operations, through both practical and theoretical training, to prepare them for a successful career.
This course focuses on:
- Fundamentals of Micromechanics
- Dismantling of Cases
- Case preparation
- Watch Encasing
- Movement Exchange Procedures
- Adjustment Procedures
- Final Controls
Richemont offers a generous compensation and benefits package for eligible candidates.
Eligibility Requirements: Candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered for this program:
- Authorized to work in the United States
- High School Degree or GED
- No watchmaking experience requirement
- Will need to pass the following:
- Core & Bennett Test
- Technical Career Assessment Day
Program Details:
- Duration: 4 months
- Schedule: 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm excluding Holidays
- Start Date: 9/21/2026
- End Date: 01/29/2027
- Achievement Upon Completion: Encasing Technician Certification
