YOUR MISSION:
The Brand Controller, will play a pivotal role in ensuring robust financial management and strategic financial planning for the designated Maison and market. This position is critical for driving consistent financial reporting, enabling effective business partnering, and supporting the achievement of financial objectives. The Brand Controller will act as a trusted financial advisor to both regional management contributing significantly to the region's sustainable growth and profitability.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
- Lead the consolidation of financial results for all entities within the North Asia region, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to Group accounting standards
- Enable comprehensive financial planning activities across North Asia, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
- Analyze financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying key variances, trends, and business drivers.
- Develop and implement consistent and standardized financial reporting methodologies and processes throughout the North Asia region to enhance efficiency and comparability.
- Prepare high-quality, insightful presentations for financial reviews, tailored for North Asia Senior Management and Maison headquarters.
- Act as a key financial partner to the regional commercial teams, providing financial insights and support for performance management initiatives.
- Go beyond traditional P&L analysis to include reviews, and other operational metrics to drive efficiency and profitability.
- Lead all financial planning, controlling, and reporting activities specifically for the Hainan market and GTR, ensuring strategic alignment with regional and Group objectives.
- Partner closely with the Hainan market team to monitor performance, identify risks and opportunities, and ensure the delivery of financial objectives for the market.
- Provides key inputs to overall HKMO entity level cashflow planning for Richemont
- Collates and prepares NEA Richemont Monthly Regional Dashboard
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, with a Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA) highly desirable.
- Minimum 6-8 years in financial controlling, FP&A, or auditing, with significant regional experience in a multinational company, preferably within luxury retail or consumer goods.
- Proven track record in financial consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, with strong analytical and financial modeling skills. Essential proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, ERP systems (SAP), and financial planning tools (Hyperion, Anaplan).
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior management and cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Mandarin (both written and spoken) is a significant asset due to the regional focus.
