Role Overview
The Director of Merchandising leads the merchandising strategy for the Americas, driving product assortment, buying and distribution to support the success of Chloe’s collections.
This role combines strategic leadership with strong business acumen, translating global vision into a regionally relevant assortment while optimizing sales performance, inventory productivity, and client experience. The director partners closely with HQ and cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive and elevated merchandising approach across all channels.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead merchandising strategy for the Americas, aligned with HQ direction and regional business objectives
- Build and refine seasonal assortments aligned with business goals and brand positioning
- Use market trends and client insights to inform product decisions
- Oversee end-to-end buying process and OTB strategy
- Ensure alignment between assortment decision and financial targets
- Own business performance, driving sell through, margin and inventory optimization
- Provide strategic oversight on pricing and in-season action
- Lead forecasting and planning
- Drive inventory optimization and product availability across the region
- Partner with cross functional department and HQ to ensure alignment on product strategy and launches
- Oversee regional allocation and distribution strategy across stores and clients
- Monitor distribution performance and ensure alignment with business priorities
- Partner with local and HQ teams to optimize product availability and execution
Qualifications
- 10+ years merchandising experience within a luxury brand
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. (VLOOKUP, Sumifs, Pivot etc.) and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Anaplan & SAP
- Ability to lead strategy and drive business
- Deep understanding of planning, buying and inventory management
- Strategic thinking and data-driven mind set with strong communication skills
- Detail-oriented

Expected Salary Range: $160,000 ~ $180,000
Salary will be determined based on relevant skills and experience.
