The Atelier de New York has developed a dedicated Apprenticeship Program for recent jewelry graduates, designed to train and prepare emerging talent. The ideal candidate will have completed a formal jewelry education program from a recognized jewelry school or accredited college or university. You will have relevant jewelry-specific beginner skills. You will have a willingness to learn and have excellent communication skills. You will be able to take in feedback and have a determination to grow as a professional.
What are we expecting from you?
The Apprentice Jeweler will require completion of 12 months apprenticeship program. The apprentice's responsibilities include learning and developing practical skills, participating in assignments for VCA workshop, observing all health and safety requirements, completing required exercises and learning assignments under supervision of Director of jewelry services and participating VCA Master Jewelers. This role will be based at our NYC Workshop
Apprentice Responsibilities:
Learn with the company’s assigned experienced staff
Participate in daily classes and any workshops that might take place on-site
Gain knowledge, skills and experience throughout apprenticeship
Learn about the industry as a whole and specific best practice in Jewelry industry
Observing health and safety procedures.
Completing all tests, assignments, and other required evaluations.
Positively receiving feedback.
Keeping records of everything learned.
Building professional relationships with colleagues and administrative teams.

Expected Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000
Salary will be negotiated based on skills and prior work experience.
