KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • P&L ownership of the department and delivery of the Retail strategy to achieve target sales objectives
  • Collaborates closely with Brand Regional Office on strategic initiatives that add brand value to the local market
  • Leads and motivates the team to deliver results and optimize performance
  • Management of Landlord relationships
  • Partners closely with Richemont support function

Sales/Budget Planning

  • Sales & Budget construction and follow up across all channels.

Internal network management

  • Accountability of DTC sales budgets
  • Implement programs on merchandising, incentives, and action plans to achieve targets in collaboration with Regional Office
  • Create initiatives that includes training, coaching and incentives that raise the bar for client service
  • Work cross-functionally with CRM, Supply Chain, Marketing and Events planning to drive boutique performance
  • Plan and monitor monthly sales targets inclusive of analysis to support business improvements
  • Define training programs for front line teams and ensure quality delivery
  • Involvement in talent development plans or succession planning for key roles within the Taiwan team, setting key performance indicators to measure success and regularly reviewing performance metrics
  • Facilitate the efficient operations of the network in line with Brand standards and Group compliance
  • Collaborate with the regional team to identify and support wholesale opportunities and strategies for the Taiwan market

Communication

  • Support the Communications team in planning & implementing brand communication strategies based on the regional strategy
  • Represent the brand in the respective markets at the highest standards

People management

  • Develops and manages the team (both frontline and office)
  • Provide cohesive and entrepreneurial environment that fosters new ideas that bring value to brand

Wholesale Development

  • Support the regional team to maximize wholesale opportunities within Taiwan.
  • Collaborate closely with the local Wholesale team in Taiwan and the Regional Wholesale & Travel Retail team to ensure wholesale strategies are aligned with overall brand objectives and market positioning
  • Foster strong synergy and collaboration between the direct retail and wholesale channels to maximize brand presence and market share in Taiwan.

PROFILE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10 years of market experience in brand management and/or retail
  • Entrepreneurial, decisive and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Decisive with a strong bias for action
  • Proactive and open minded to create opportunities
  • Strong negotiation skills and business acumen
  • Highly analytical and uses facts and figures to support business proposals
  • Strong in team management with proven success in building and motivating teams
