This is a 1-year fixed term contract.

Role Purpose: As an HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for some of the Retail Boutiques in Northern Europe, sharing responsibility of the Boutiques with another HRBP, and you will partner with the Retail leadership to shape and execute our people strategy. You will provide expert HR guidance, foster a high-performance culture, and support the development of our retail talents, contributing directly to Cartier's commercial success.

This role is part of the Richemont and Cartier Northern Europe HR & L&D team, and reports to the Head of HR Cartier Northern Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Partnership and Operations: Act as a trusted advisor to Retail leadership, translating business priorities and HR strategies into HR initiatives. Employee Relations & Performance: Provide guidance on employee relations and coach managers on effective performance management, ensuring fair application of policies and compliance. Talent Management: Drive the full talent lifecycle, including part of the recruitment process, performance management, talent reviews, salary review process and succession planning to enhance retail capabilities and retention. HR Analytics, processes and operations: Leverage HR systems (e.g., Workday) for efficient processes and utilise an analytical approach to interpret HR data, providing data-driven recommendations for improved HR effectiveness and business outcomes. You are responsible, for personnel, budget planning and personnel controlling. HR Project: You lead and implement local and international HR projects, driving and executing HR change management initiatives

Your Profile:

  • Experience:
    • 2-4 years of experience in an HR role, ideally within a retail or luxury environment, with some exposure to HR Business Partnering.
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with stakeholders and support HR initiatives.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Skills & Attributes:
    • Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and contribute to data-driven HR solutions, with a keen eye for detail.
    • Systems Savvy: Familiarity with HRIS (e.g., Workday) and other HR technologies, with good Excel skills. Eagerness to develop further proficiency in HR systems.
    • Structured & Organised: Demonstrates a methodical and organised approach to work, capable of managing tasks and priorities effectively.
    • Eager to Learn: A curious mindset with a genuine desire for continuous professional development, staying abreast of HR best practices and industry trends.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a developing ability to build relationships.
    • Good problem-solving abilities, integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
    • Fluency in German and English is essential
