MCC data is composed of several sub data domains: Client data, Product data, Communication data, Media data… The International MCC Data & Analytics Manager will foster collaboration between sub data domain teams to focus on developing, implementing, and optimizing data and analytics capabilities. It will ensure centralized and harmonized approach to data assets and reporting to avoid duplication across dashboards, with a strong emphasis on leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI (Gen AI) technologies.


The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise in data platforms and analytics, including AI/Gen AI methodologies and their practical application, with exceptional leadership and a strategic vision for data utilization, including fostering a strong community among different data domains.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Data Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define and articulate a clear vision and strategic roadmap for data and analytics initiatives within the Marketing Communication and Client Data domains, ensuring alignment with overall business priorities.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage data assets and analytics to solve business challenges, improve decision-making, and create competitive advantage.
  • Establish a comprehensive inventory of dashboards used by MCC teams, identifying redundancies and fragmented solutions.
  • Define a unified ecosystem of data and analytics to improve efficiency, reduce complexity, and simplify maintenance.

2. Data Platform & Solution Development

  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of robust data integration flow in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage), by managing an external Data engineer.
  • Lead the development of high-quality reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Looker, ensuring accuracy, usability, and timely delivery to stakeholders, by managing an external Analytics engineer.
  • Manage MCC data catalog to ensure understanding of data set, usage and KPI definition.
  • Harmonise KPIs and data structures, streamlining data and analytical developments to avoid duplication.
  • Ensure the relevance and coherence of the MCC data ecosystem, aligning with Cartier's central data office and the group platform.

3. Innovation & Artificial Intelligence

  • Drive the identification, prioritization, and implementation of Gen AI use cases, fostering strong collaboration with MCC department and other teams (Data office, Finance, Commercial..).
  • Lead the development of advanced predictive models and strategic simulation tools designed to quantify the impact of various investments and diverse business options on key performance drivers and financial outcomes, to optimize resource allocation and strategic decision-making.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements, tools, and methodologies in data engineering, business intelligence, and analytics, particularly within the GCP ecosystem.
  • Champion experimentation with new technologies and approaches to continuously improve the team's capabilities and drive innovation in data utilization, including AI Agents, and analytics.

4. Stakeholder Engagement, Collaboration & Communication

  • Act as a MCC primary subject matter expert and advocate for data and analytics capabilities, effectively communicating complex technical concepts and project outcomes to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships with MCC internal business partners (Sub data domain), to ensure a common understanding and effective utilization of data assets and analytics tools, and also drive best practices sharing among the community.
  • Develop an efficient partnership with Cartier data office to data implement governance and support Cartier data & AI strategy.
  • Promote and deploy the group's data governance framework within MCC, integrating data owners and managers to foster a culture of data responsibility and quality.
  • Collaborate with Cartier data office to identify, scope, and pilot high-impact AI/ML initiatives.
  • Present findings, recommendations, and project progress to senior leadership.

PROFILE

  • You are graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
  • You have an experience of at least 10 years of progressive experience in data engineering, business intelligence, data analytics, or data solution development roles and at least 3 years in a leadership or management role, successfully building and leading data/analytics teams.
  • You have a strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services relevant to data (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Composer/Airflow).
  • You are proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python) for data manipulation and automation. You are familiar with data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and data
    governance principles.
  • You are passionate about innovation and have the ability to translate complex business challenges into technical requirements and actionable data/analytics solutions, particularly within marketing, client, communication data, or digital transformation contexts.
  • You have a strong ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving environment.
  • You are analytical, problem-solving oriented and you have critical thinking skills.
  • You have a strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to execution.
