HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

As Cartier’s Marketing, Communication & Clients Director, your main mission is to define the Marketing, Communication and Client strategy for the UAE market - in accordance with global and regional guidelines and to develop the local action plan and roadmap, fostering synergies with regional Marketing, Communications and Client (MCC) functions.

As part of the local UAE Executive Committee, you are a key stakeholder in defining strategic vision, implementing innovative projects and accompanying the market’s development and structuration.

WHAT WILL BE YOUR MISSION?

Striving for image excellence and client engagement, and with an entrepreneurial spirit, your goal is to immerse Cartier’s clients in exceptional experiences and increase their engagement with the Maison.

In close collaboration with boutique management, partners and commercial teams, you will be responsible for the following:

Strategy & Business planning

  • Provide business and client insights to the Executive Committee to identify the main priorities for Cartier UAE, supporting the overall design and articulation of the Market’s action plan, and uncover new opportunities.
  • Develop strategic business plans to achieve sales targets and market share growth. This includes setting clear objectives, identifying key performance indicators, tracking progress against goals.
  • Accompany Commercial and Boutique Management teams in gathering business and client insights, to help Boutiques to identify their levers of growth and implement action plans.
  • Define and implement 360 activations and wave plan ensuring brand elevation and consistency.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including potential partnerships and collaborations. Conduct market research and financial analysis to assess the viability of new opportunities.
  • Develop a performance mindset within the MCC community, defining KPI’s, ensuring activations’ ROI measurements & takeaways.

Marketing & Visual Merchandising

  • Define the Marketing strategy across all product categories to address local priorities and develop growth.
  • Build and monitor the product sales ambitions and forecasts, in collaboration with commercial, supply chain and distribution teams.
  • Monitor product performance and implement action plan to ensure the growth of core business.
  • Launch new products by orchestrating 360 activation plans.
  • Enhance product visibility and maximize offer performance across the entire network.
  • Define and implement the Visual Merchandising strategy to support product launches and in-range product performance.
  • Analyze the performance of product categories and collections to adapt Visual Merchandising initiatives & actions on microzoning, visible display/assortment, windows and hot spot.
  • Implement international concepts for exterior windows and internal showcases of Cartier boutiques, pop up and watch specialists.
  • Develop specific decors and bespoke windows for local key events or celebrations (High Jewellery, Ramadan, Diwali…) in collaboration with regional and international teams.

Communication

  • Develop and implement action plans to locally enhance the Maison’s brand equity, maximizing awareness, visibility and desirability.
  • Collaborate with regional team to build a local media strategy, answering local priorities, business needs, diversity of audiences and clients & marketing objectives.
  • Collaborate with regional PR teams to elaborate a local PR strategy to answer local needs and priorities, developing innovative native and editorial partnerships with local key media partners.
  • Develop and implement a UAE micro-influencer strategy, leveraging local people of influence to authentically connect with our diverse audiences with a special focus on Emirati audience.
  • Implement a performance mindset, ensuring the definition of relevant KPIs to follow and reflect on the success of communication activations.

Client Activations

  • Design the UAE clients’ strategy to recruit, retain, develop and treat our clients.
  • Define and implement a CRM campaign strategy, adapting worldwide campaigns and designing local campaigns to address local needs and local client’s journeys.
  • Support boutique teams in optimizing their clienteling actions and developing their loyal clients.
  • Develop and implement a client experience strategy, ensuring alignment with Cartier's global standards while tailoring initiatives for our local clients.
  • Elevate hospitality in all our boutiques with a specific focus on our Flagship boutique in Dubai mall.
  • Design and implement retail programming for our loyal clients in our Dubai Mall flagship boutique.
  • Develop and implement efficient waiting time solutions, ensuring that clients receive prompt & personalized attention when they visit our boutiques.
  • Monitor the client experience in boutique through client barometer and elaborate action plans.
  • Research and benchmark new retail and hospitality innovations and potential partners across different industries.
  • Develop and implement a client gifting and treatment strategy to maximize client’s engagement and loyalty, celebrating clients’ cultural and personal occasions, inside or outside our boutiques.
  • Define and implement events to build brand equity, support product launches or host High Jewelry commercial events, in collaboration with regional and international teams. Design specific communication platform in collaboration with regional teams to maximize their resonance.
  • Support commercial teams in the creation and organization of retail programming in boutiques for product launches or any other Maison’s celebrations.

A&P Budget Management

  • Define and monitor the UAE A&P budget, optimizing investments per audience and per channels.

Talent management & development

  • Contribute proactively to talent development, retention, and attraction of high-preforming team members.
  • Constantly share the Maison vision, strategy and values by engaging and motivating all stakeholders.
  • Foster team-work and creative culture amongst all touchpoints.
  • Provide regular performance feedback; develops subordinates' skills and encourages growth.
  • Improve processes & services, Develops and promotes team building and team spirit.
  • Regularly visit local point-of-sales and external stakeholders to discuss improvement needs and ensure feeling of inclusion in the brand endeavors.

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

To truly thrive in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in the luxury Industry with a relevant experience at Director equivalent level, with a Master degree in Marketing or Clients field.
  • Core expertise in driving brand equity through multiple angles whilst creating compelling in-store experience for luxury consumers.
  • Strong background in developing and managing customer acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies.
  • Excellent analytical skills and understanding of retail productivity levers.
  • Strong strategic acumen paired with drive for results.
  • Intrapreneurial mindset with strong proactivity and creativity.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, & organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing and complex environment.
  • Genuine values of inclusivity and trust, driven by a one-team mindset.
  • Fluent preferably in multiple languages with spoken and written English mandatory.
