Richemont is looking for a Senior Manager Data and Analytics to lead a team of data professionals within the Group Responsible and Strategic Procurement department.

Reporting to the Procurement Excellence Director, the Senior Manager Data and Analytics will be responsible for defining, implementing, and overseeing the Group Responsible and Strategic Procurement data strategy, analytics capabilities and data governance framework, enabling the Experts within Group Responsible and Strategic Procurement department as well as other stakeholders across the Group such as the Regions and the Maisons, Group Sustainability function, etc.

This role drives the transformation of raw data into actionable insights that are key to better understanding or our supply chains, informed business decisions, optimized operations, enhanced customer experiences, and identifying new growth opportunities, fostering a data-driven culture, and ensuring ethical and compliant use of data.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Leadership & Vision:

  • Develop and articulate comprehensive data and analytics vision and strategy aligned with the overall business objectives, fast evolving sustainability regulations context and digital transformation initiatives.

  • Identify, design and prioritize key business questions that can be answered through data analysis, driving value creation.

  • Champion a data-driven culture across the organization, promoting data literacy and the use of analytics for decision-making.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data science, machine learning, and business intelligence.

  • Act as a strategic advisor to Responsible and Strategic Procurement Leadership, utilizing data-driven insights to identify cost-savings opportunities, mitigate supply chain risks, and drive value creation.

Data Management & Governance:

  • Establish and enforce robust data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, security, privacy, and compliance (e.g., GDPR, Non Financial Report,...).

  • Oversee the architecture, design, and implementation of data platforms and in-house applications, data warehouses, and other data infrastructure.

  • Manage data acquisition, integration, storage, and accessibility across various systems and sources.

  • Ensure data lineage, metadata management, and master data management (MDM) practices are in place.

Analytics & Insights Generation:

  • Pioneer and lead the development and deployment of advanced analytics, predictive modelling, and machine learning solutions to solve complex business problems.

  • Oversee the creation of dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that provide clear, actionable insights to stakeholders at all levels.

  • Design and deliver Maisons’ facing reporting frameworks, adapting outputs to varied maturity levels across 20+ Maisons and Regions

  • Collaborate with the department Experts to understand their analytical needs and deliver tailored solutions that drive measurable impact

  • Propose innovative solutions to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of analytics processes.

  • Apply data science methodologies to analyse spend and buying patterns, drive cost savings, mitigate supply and continuity risks, and ensure contract and policy compliance.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:

  • Partner closely with Group Data Office teams to operationalise Analytics and AI solutions end-to-end, ensuring they are production-ready, scalable and fully integrated into user experience.

  • Act as a primary liaison between the data and analytics team, Category Managers, Responsible Sourcing leads, Maisons and Regions and department Experts/internal stakeholders

  • Effectively communicate complex analytical findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.

  • Develop compelling visualisations and data-driven narratives to communicate insights effectively to operational and executive audiences.

  • Build strong relationships with internal and external partners to leverage data capabilities.

Team Management & Development:

  • Manage and develop a team of data professionals, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and high-performance team environment.

  • Provide technical guidance and thought leadership to the team.

  • Actively upskill the team in advanced analytical methodologies, data storytelling, and the application of next generation AI tools in Procurement.

  • Communicate project status, risks and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data science, or a related field, including experience in a management role.

Business Acumen:

  • Understanding of business processes and the ability to connect data insights to business objectives.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing data strategies that deliver significant business value.

  • Curiosity and a proactive approach to understanding business challenges.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into clear technical specifications with strong stakeholder management, communication and presentations skills.

  • Proven ability to translate regulatory compliance requirements into data architecture and collection frameworks

Technical Skills:

  • Deep understanding of the digital Procurement ecosystem (SAP Ariba,...).

  • Experience with large-scale data platforms and technologies (e.g., cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP; ...).

  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data privacy principles.

  • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data science (e.g. SQL, Python, R).

  • Strong, practical understanding of Generative AI (Gen AI) and Agentic AI frameworks, and how they can be applied to optimize procurement processes.

  • Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Power BI, Tableau).

  • Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform).

  • Spreadsheet Software: advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas, data modelling).

  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and statistical modelling techniques and their application in business.

  • Knowledge of database management systems and ETL processes.

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Exceptional critical thinking abilities to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions.

  • Ability to identify root causes of problems and propose data-driven solutions.

Interpersonal Skills:

  • A strategic mindset with a highly collaborative and consultative approach to problem-solving

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.

  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
