YOUR MISSION:
The Junior HR Business Partner is fully immersed in the entire HR lifecycle, developing critical skills and knowledge within a fast-paced, dynamic global environment and plays a crucial role in supporting our commercial organisation. Working closely with our Senior HR Team to be hands on in contributing to the development and implementation of impactful HR initiatives. This role spans diverse HR areas, including Project Management, Employee Relations, and international HR practices, within a Maison HQ and as part of an international Luxury Group. The Junior HRBP is instrumental in supporting managers, driving key people initiatives, and helping to cultivate a high-performance culture. We're looking for someone who is keen to embed themselves within the business, understanding of stakeholder priorities and delivering practical HR solutions that truly align with our strategic growth.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
- Support the Senior HR Team in implementing people initiatives and transformation projects that align with the business strategic objectives across dunhill’s commercial organisation.
- Act as the dedicated HR partner for UK employee populations in Retail, Hospitality and Manufacturing and support the Senior HR Manager in HR Operations for HQ team, based in UK.
- Contribute to recruitment, onboarding, performance, and talent management activities, ensuring key HR Processes are efficiently delivered.
- Collaborate closely with team members across HR and the business, helping to deliver a consistent and positive employee experience.
- Collaborate with centres of excellence and group (Richemont) colleagues to support the development and delivery of solutions tailored to the business needs.
- Ensure the annual performance and development review cycles are completed and calibrated for your dedicated employee populations, collaborating with dunhill’s Global L&D and Talent Managers.
- Deliver trainings in UK for managers and employees on processes across the HR lifecycle ensuring the Maison values are considered within the processes themselves and the learning opportunities.
- Assist in administering the annual compensation and reward process, ensuring accuracy and transparency under the guidance of the Senior HR Manager.
- Assist in administering the monthly payroll process, ensuring accuracy and transparency under the guidance of the Senior HR Manager. Assist in collecting and analysing HR data to inform recommendations and support business decision making with keen awareness of external market insights and developments, sharing these across the HR team.
- Lead or support various HR Projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic projects.
- Coaching and appropriately challenging managers to build confidence and capability in people management, promoting consistency, fairness, and high-performance outcomes.
- Managing employee relation cases at the appropriate level, escalating complex or high-risk matters where required, ensuring advice remains legally compliant.
- Handle Maternity Leave and Sickness absence risk assessments, return to work plans and related administration with any third-party providers such as insurers.
- Point of contact for assigned Group HR projects requiring Maison feedback and involvement, HR analytics and HRIS data management according to Group guidelines.
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
- Proven experience and progression in relevant HR discipline.
- Previous experience in a customer facing role in Retail or Hospitality, highly desirable.
- Previous hand on exposure to Employee Relations (ER) principles and practices.
- Familiarity with HR Systems and data analysis tools is a plus (Workday, SAP, highly desirable).
- CIPD qualification or working towards, desirable.
- Strong relationship Skills: Proven ability to build rapport, influence, and maintain effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent ability to analyse data, identify trends, and draw insightful conclusions to support HR Decision Making.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely.
- Organisational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
