HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

This role involves leading the regional events and activations strategy for Southeast Asia and Oceania (SEAO). Being a part of Regional Brand Experience team, you will be responsible for translating Maison priorities into distinctive, culturally relevant, and impactful experiences designed to strengthen brand desirability and drive engagement. Acting as the regional center of expertise, you will develop experiential platforms, concepts, and execution frameworks, and support markets in delivering elevated experiences that effectively balance Maison identity with local relevance.

Your key responsibilities include:

Regional Events & Activations Strategy

  • Formulate and deploy the regional Events & Activations strategy.
  • Lead investment discussions and resource planning to deliver commercial opportunities while balancing brand impact and client relevance.
  • Establish clear regional roadmap across key launches, celebrations, cultural moments, client events and commercial priorities.
  • Identify opportunities to create distinctive experiential platforms and ensure appropriate balance between regional consistency and market-specific opportunities.
  • Define KPIs for evaluation of event effectiveness, engagement and business impact.
  • Act as a strategic partner and centre of expertise for market Events teams, and a guardian of Cartier’s experiential standards across regional and market events.

Concept & Creative Development

  • Translate and adapt global concepts/toolkits for SEAO, while monitor emerging trends.
  • Propose opportunities to engage audiences via new formats, partnerships, and experiences.
  • Develop distinctive, scalable experiential concepts and activation platforms that bring our stories, creations, and cultural narratives to life, adaptable across markets, audiences, and occasions.
  • Act as key liaison with regional creative agencies and external specialists to deliver experiential solutions; and maintain strong relationships with local agencies and production partners.
  • Champion innovative event approaches that transcend traditional formats, creating stronger emotional connections with the Maison.

Event & Activation Delivery

  • End-to-end management of regional events and priority market activations, from concept, briefing to execution and post-event evaluation.
  • Build frameworks/toolkits and share best practices to empower markets; and challenge proposals to ensure creative excellence and appropriate investment.
  • Analyze post-event results and translate learnings into future planning and optimization.
  • Provide hand-on support and guidance to markets on event strategy, production approach, supplier selection and execution when required.
  • Anticipate operational, production and execution challenges and provide solutions that protect the intended guest experience, ensuring all aspects uphold Maison codes and quality standards.
  • Establish appropriate governance (i.e., review, approval processes) for key market activations.

Cross-Functional Experience Integration

  • Partner with Client Experience to ensure events translate client engagement objectives into the overall experience; and with Visual Experience and Store VM to ensure physical expressions are coherent with overall visual identity.
  • Collaborate with MCC, Commercial/Retail and CRM teams to integrate events into broader business and communication strategies.

YOUR PROFILE/KEY SKILLS

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in managing events and brand activations, or luxury/experiential marketing, preferably within the luxury or premium sector.
  • Proven experience in end-to-end event management (from conceptualization to execution) in regional or multicultural environments.
  • Creative, curious and passionate about luxury brand experiences, with a strong aesthetic sensibility and attention to detail.
  • Highly organized, structured, and excellent project management capabilities, adept at navigating complex regional projects, competing priorities, budgets, and timelines.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage and influence diverse stakeholders within a matrix set-up
  • Analytical, with strong financial and performance acumen.
  • Proactive, resourceful and solution-oriented, with the ability to navigate changing priorities.
