[Job Definition & Main Purpose]

At Richemont Korea, the Internal Communications acts as a strategic enabler, culture catalyst and cross-functional connector. The primary focus of this role is to strengthen the sense of belonging, nurture a positive and inclusive workplace culture, and bridge understanding from leadership to frontline teams (Office, Boutiques), and drive core HR Project to successful execution.

Grounded in Richemont’s core values — collegiality, courage, curiosity, empathy, humility, and integrity — the role works to align our diverse Maisons and business functions under a unified, purpose-driven narrative. Furthermore, this position plays a pivoted role in translating HR initiatives into clear, engaging employee communications, while driving complex multi-stakeholder with organizational maturity and structured clarity.

Internal communication is a journey of putting our culture into action—connecting every individual at Richemont Korea into a unified community, inspiring one another, and building mutual trust. We are looking for an energetic and passionate communicator who can proactively drive our internal storytelling, humanize our corporate strategy, and champion our values.

[Key responsibilities]

1. Channel Management & Governance (Embodying Digital Culture)

Prioritize and optimize the use of our group intranet(REACH), and internal social platform(Viva Engage), to foster bottom-up communication, peer-to-peer appreciation, and open dialogue.

Ensure all local REACH pages are up to date and in line with regional/global standards.

Enforce and manage email communication discipline, ensuring emails are used as a channel only for business-critical or action-oriented information to prevent digital communication fatigue.

Consolidate routine updates, HR notices, and functional updates into a structured, optimized newsletter format to drive efficiency and cohesive corporate identity.

Monitor and analyze channel performance using metrics and tools (such as REACH / Viva Engage active user rate, etc) to continuously improve employee reach and positive interaction levels.

2. Leadership & HR Communication (Humanizing Strategy & Cultivating Trust)

Drive purposeful leadership visibility by directly coordinating key communication touchpoints, such as townhalls, leadership gatherings, and face-to-face sessions, to foster an environment of transparency.

Draft and coordinate localized seasonal messages for major cultural milestones (e.g., (Lunar) New year, Chuseok) and other key corporate milestones, embedding core group values in every message.

Deliver engaging and high-quality leadership communication assets, including written letters, memos, video interviews, and standard briefs, to recognize local impacts and bring executive strategy closer to employees.

Communicate and translate HR Initiatives for employees to easy-to-understand, employee-centric, and visually engaging.

Actively communicate the “story” of HR policies to enhance employee awareness, satisfaction and adoption across business

3. Business Partnership & Cultural Engagement (Fostering Collegiality & Solidarity)

Foster solidarity, equity, and collegiality across the organization; actively work to reduce corporate silos and build enduring, collaborative relationships

Align local communication calendars with the APAC regional internal communication to ensure local relevance, smart timing, and seamless integration with broader business priorities.

Partner with HR and business functions to communicate and drive key corporate events, Employee Value Proposition (EVP) initiatives, Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR), and staff sales.

Serve as the central point of contact for HR initiatives, managing project timelines, risk mitigation, and cross-functional feedback loops.

Demonstrate high organizational maturity and capability to bring structure, order, and clear frameworks to complex or ambiguous project environments.

[QUALIFICATIONS]

- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Communications, Business Administration, or related fields.

- Experience: +5 years of professional experience in Corporate Internal Communications, Employee Engagement, HR Communications, or related area

- Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Korean and English (fluent English is mandatory for frequent regional/global collaboration).

[FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES]

Strong storytelling and copywriting capabilities, with the ability to translate strategic, abstract concepts into engaging, and humanized narratives for diverse employee groups.

Proficiency in managing modern intranet/collaboration platforms (SharePoint-based REACH, MS Teams, Viva Engage) and email tools.

Excellent project management and event coordination skills for planning and executing large-scale events like townhalls.

Ability to interpret communication metrics and translate engagement data into actionable improvement plans.

Basic design skills (e.g., Canva, Photoshop) and video editing capabilities for creating rich content are highly preferred.

[BEHAVIOUR COMPETENCIES / RICHEMONT VALUES ALIGNMENT]

Collegiality & Solidarity: A strong believe in the power of collective knowledge; works in harmony, listening to others, and caring for colleagues across all levels of the business.

Empathy & Humility: Active listener who respects heritage, diverse viewpoints, and places the success of the team and the excellence of the client experience above self-interests.

Courage & Curiosity: Self-starter who dares to challenge the status quo when it serves long-term excellence, continuously learns, and is proactive in identifying communication gaps.

Integrity: Commits to honesty, transparency, and leads by example to build trust and safeguard the reputation of the Group and its Maisons.

[EXPERIENCE & ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS]

- Prior experience working within a multinational/global retail brand environment (especially luxury, fashion, or consumer goods sectors with boutique frontline employees) is highly preferred.

- Proven track record of managing internal culture initiatives, employee value proposition (EVP) engagement, or driving digital workspace transformation is a major asset.
