Are you a good match?
You have proven senior leadership experience in the cultural/academic/scientific/Marcom environment. You possess of strong knowledge of the APAC cultural environment and local networks, previous international experience would be a plus. You are pragmatic, agile, proactive, ability to manage ambiguity and matrix organization.
What are we expecting from you?
The L’Ecole APAC Managing Director advances L’Ecole global strategic development within APAC (excl. China) by ensuring its firm local anchoring.
Her/His objective is to implement the local strategy, to develop L’Ecole’s networks in the region by actively contributing to its reputation, differentiation and visibility. She/He ensures the efficient and compliant implementation of the campus activities in collaboration with L’Ecole Services’ teams and the Maison’s experts in the Region. She/He supports the reputation and development of Van Cleef & Arpels. The L’Ecole APAC Managing Director is a member of the APAC Regional ExCo, with below key responsibilities:
360° Regional strategy implementation
- Define and orchestrate all campus activities—including courses, conferences, exhibitions, publications, nomadic initiatives, and B2B programs—ensuring local relevance.
- Propose and roll out locally relevant activities, content, and programs aligned with L’Ecole Services.
- Deliver compliant campus activities through 360° action plans, attendance targets, performance measurement, continuous improvement, and effective cross-team communication.
Ambassador and promoter of L’Ecole
- Increase L’Ecole’s public recognition, awareness, and influence.
- Build partnerships with institutions, universities, and other key regional stakeholders.
- Represent L’Ecole in press, PR, sponsorships, and events while protecting its reputation.
Strategic, financial, and operational planning
- Develop strategic and annual plans aligned with regional and global priorities.
- Determine resource needs and manage the budget and P&L with regional leadership.
- Engage the Regional ExCo and Richemont network to identify synergies and opportunities.
Team management and organization
- Establish effective campus structure and governance, addressing organizational gaps.
- Define ways of working with Regional teams and L’Ecole Services.
- Lead objectives, recruitment, talent development, skills building, and training.
