YOUR MISSION:
Develop and implement the organisation's learning and development strategy for the defined scope in alignment with Group/Entity L&D strategy so that the skills and performance of employees meet the organisation's current and future needs.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
- Develop and implement the organization's learning and development strategy in alignment with Group/Entity L&D strategy to ensure employees' skills and performance meet current and future needs.
- Design and develop comprehensive L&D programs to address individual and organizational learning needs within specified timescales and resources; incorporate appropriate methodologies and delivery channels; create engaging content and high-quality learning resources to achieve desired learning outcomes.
- Deliver complex training programs, providing guidance and advice to learners, and evaluate the effectiveness of these programs in achieving learning objectives.
- Collaborate with team or department managers to identify short-term L&D priorities, gather performance data, identify competence gaps, and agree on required outcomes.
- Conduct detailed analyses of HR data to identify key trends and contribute to HR insights that address business issues, enhance employee engagement, and improve business performance.
- Develop and test HR data collection tools to ensure relevant data is gathered in line with defined requirements.
- Communicate the local action plan, explaining its relation to the function's strategy and the broader organization's mission and vision; motivate employees to achieve local business goals.
- Develop and monitor procedures within the organization to ensure effective implementation.
- Utilize the organization's development framework to identify and address individual development needs within the team; plan and implement actions to build capabilities; provide training or coaching to enhance performance and personal potential.
- Manage the budget for the L&D area or conduct complex budget analyses for other organizational areas.
- Prepare briefings and information for external consultants or advisers to support key projects and services; monitor and evaluate outcomes, recommending remedial actions as necessary.
- Set and pursue personal performance objectives using the organization's performance management systems; manage and report on team performance, setting appropriate objectives for direct reports and holding them accountable for achieving these objectives, taking corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure all job descriptions are aligned with the company's diversity and inclusion guidelines, using precise and descriptive language to detail tasks and responsibilities.
- Maintain a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent level of education, with experience in managing and directing people and resources to achieve specific results within limited timeframes.
