To support our Performance Management & Insights Department at our headquarters in Schaffhausen we are looking for an
Intern Business Performance & Insights (100%)
The primary focus of this internship is to accelerate our data & analytics transformation, enabling management to leverage data for enhanced decision-making and business outcomes. You will play a key role in supporting the development and deployment of performance reports using the Google tech stack, with a strong focus on executive-level reporting and high-quality visualizations.
YOUR MISSION AT IWC.
Performance Report Delivery:
- Support the delivery of executive (ExCo) performance reports, using Google Looker
- Ensure alignment of reports with business KPIs and management priorities
- Translate business requirements into clear reporting logic and data structures
Insights & Visualizations:
- Design clear, compelling, and executive-ready visualizations in Google Looker
- Translate complex data into simple, actionable insights for senior stakeholders
- Continuously improve usability, storytelling, and layout of reports
- Share best practices and contribute to a data-driven culture across the organization
Data Engineering:
- Integrate and structure diverse data sources to enable consistent and reliable reporting
- Ensure data quality and availability for business-critical reporting
HOW YOU BECOME PART OF THE JOURNEY.
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a comparable field
- A strong interest in data, analytics, and how they can be applied to solve business problems
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies
- Hands-on personality with a strong business acumen and excellent communication and collaboration skills
- First practical experience is required: Familiarity in project-based, analytical settings a plus, e.g., tech, consulting
- Business fluent English skills are required, German is a plus
