This role ensures effective recruitment processes, strong retail workforce planning, and smooth HR operations across boutiques and office.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition (50%)
- Manage end-to-end recruitment process for the Malaysia market.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce planning and hiring needs.
- Source and attract talent through job portals, LinkedIn, recruitment agencies, and networking.
- Coordinate interviews and manage candidate experience.
- Ensure recruitment processes follow company guidelines and compliance requirements.
- Support employer branding and recruitment initiatives.
- Maintain recruitment pipeline for key retail positions.
- Track recruitment metrics and provide hiring updates to management.
- Support onboarding coordination for new hires.
2. Retail HR Support (25%)
- Act as HR support retail teams.
- Support HR initiatives within boutiques including engagement and communication.
3. Employee Relations & HR Operations (25%)
- Support the Senior HR Manager in employee relations cases, including disciplinary matters, counselling, and investigations.
- Assist in preparation of show cause letters, warning letters, and documentation for domestic inquiry when required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and Malaysia Employment Act.
- Maintain accurate HR documentation and employee records.
- Support HR audits, compliance reviews, and internal HR processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 4–6 years HR experience, preferably with exposure to recruitment and HR operations.
- Experience in retail / luxury retail environment is an advantage.
Competency
- Strong knowledge of Malaysia employment legislation.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Fast learner, professional, critical thinking and think outside the box
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
