HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
The Travel Manager is responsible for the day-to-day delivery and continuous improvement of the corporate travel program for the appointed region/ market, ensuring employees receive safe, efficient, cost-effective and policy-compliant travel arrangements. Based in Hong Kong, the role is the regional subject-matter expert on air and hotel booking, fare and rate benchmarking, travel management company (TMC) performance management and the SAP Concur platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the regional escalation point for flight, hotel and ground transport advice, closely work with appointed travel TMC to resolve incoming requests and enquiries Resolve urgent, complex or exception-based requests (last-minute changes, cancellations, disruptions, multi-sector itineraries, visa and entry-requirement issues) together with the TMC
- Support HQ on airline and hotel fare and cost benchmarking with regional volume data, market insights and recommendations
- Monitor and improve the TMC performance against SLAs and KPIs including response time, accuracy, fare quality, fees and traveller satisfaction
- Ensure travel complies with company policy; monitor exceptions and follow up with travellers and approvers
- Prepare regular management reports, coordinate travel-related CO₂ reporting and promote lower-carbon options, such as rail, direct routes and virtual meetings, aligned with Group targets
- Recommend policy and local addendum updates based on market trends, savings opportunities and traveller feedback, improve booking efficiency and traveller experience undefined
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
- 8 years of experience in corporate travel, including at least 3 years in corporate travel management, travel program or TMC account management role
- Proven experience supporting a multi-country APAC travel program, with sound knowledge of regional air and hotel markets, luxury/ retail industry experience is a plus
- Strong in analytical skills and familiar with GDS and SAP Concur
- Solution-driven, articulate, detail-minded agile & resilience while effectively influencing stakeholders at all levels
- Fluent written and spoken English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin undefined
