With more than 50 stores worldwide, TimeVallée is the only multi-brand with a global presence and its ambition is to keep expanding in the next years.
MAIN PURPOSE
Directly reporting to the Deputy CEO of TimeVallée International, you are responsible for driving and implementing the development and the performance of TimeVallée – both domestic and travel retail - in Asia Pacific including Mainland China.
This includes a strong emphasis on consolidating and expanding our presence within the region ensuring its sustainable growth.
You are accountable for achieving sales and financial sustainability ensuring best-in-class operations across the different functions (store design & planning, marketing & communication, commercial & retail…).
You are also responsible for protecting and enhancing the brand image and desirability within the markets and among our clients, both B2B and B2C.
You are the brand ambassador and representative for retail partners, landlords, Maisons and the Richemont organization in the region.
Finally, you lead and manage a multi-functional team both based in Shanghai and Hong Kong fostering a culture of client centricity, excellence, innovation and agility.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Network strategy & business development
- Develop and execute the regional strategy for TimeVallée, aligning with global objectives and adapting to market dynamics and specificities.
- Identify and evaluate commercial development opportunities including boutique openings, brand mix changes, closures.
- Drive aggressive but sustainable growth in sales and productivity.
- Manage the roll-out of TimeVallée projects including commercial terms, brand mix, store design, P&L, contracts, logistics, training and other critical project elements.
- Ensure full compliance with local laws & regulations, and Richemont Group policies and procedures.
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape and consumer behaviour to inform strategic decisions and maintain TimeVallée’s competitive edge.
Commercial & operational excellence
- Manage the P&L for the APAC region, including budgeting, forecasting, invoicing and performance analysis to achieve sales and revenues targets.
- Oversee all aspects of operations ensuring operational excellence, consistent client experience (both B2B and B2C), and adherence to global guidelines and scalability.
- Drive and monitor performance through robust follow-up and reporting (with HQ, Maisons, retail partners) and comprehensive action plans.
- Lead the development and the implementation of local innovative initiatives to enhance TimeVallée brand image and desirability and drive client acquisition locally.
Account/Stakeholder management
- Act as the primary liaison with the landlords, retail partners, the Maisons and the Richemont functions ensuring strong collaboration, alignment on strategies, and mutual growth.
- Cultivate and strengthen strategic alliances with Maisons, retail partners, landlords and key third parties.
- Support all TimeVallée stakeholders with best practices, tools and processes.
People management
- Develop and manage a team covering commercial & business development, marketing & communication, store design & planning, retail & training functions.
- Champion a culture of talent development, engagement and accountability, aligned with the brand and Group’s priorities and culture.
PROFILE
- Extensive experience in luxury retail management, ideally within the watch industry
- Proven experience of partnering, negotiating top-to-top and building relationships with key accounts. Proven experience with wholesale partners
- Hands on management style, used to managing with limited resources
- Excellent leadership, communication & interpersonal skills
- Strong business & financial acumen
- Strong understanding of the APAC distribution landscape, market dynamics, consumer behaviors and luxury trends
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Chinese is a significant asset
