HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
The main mission of the Key Account Manager is to drive sustainable business growth and maximize profitability by building strong relationships with strategic clients and ensuring the successful execution of fragrance solutions. The role will contribute to sales growth and market share development across the assigned territory.
In this role, you will work closely with internal departments, agents, and clients to ensure smooth implementation and effective execution of commercial plans.
This position is offered as a fixed-term maternity cover and represents an exceptional opportunity to join the world of luxury Travel Retail.
WHAT WILL BE YOUR MISSION?
The Key Account Manager will act as a commercial lead, supporting the Fragrance team in the execution of its strategy, sales objectives, supply flow, forecasting activities, and marketing plans.
Client Account Management
- Achieve sales and margin targets while providing accurate sales forecasts and monitoring performance against objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key fragrance clients.
- Create and execute strategic account plans aligned with business objectives.
- Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries and issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Ambassador Engagement
- Build and lead a Travel Retail ambassador community through regular training and engagement initiatives.
- Recruit, monitor, and develop Fragrance Ambassadors through sales analysis and brand knowledge assessments.
- Set monthly targets and manage commission and incentive schemes.
- Motivate and empower the ambassador network to achieve business objectives.
Sales Orientation & Growth
- Identify opportunities for business growth, including upselling, cross-selling, and new business development within designated accounts.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and support commercial decision-making.
- Present new product launches, brand strategies, and the company’s value proposition to clients.
- Lead commercial negotiations, including pricing, terms, and conditions, to secure favorable agreements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders to ensure effective execution of business priorities, marketing initiatives, and operational plans.
- Support smooth supply flow and coordination across relevant departments.
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
- Minimum 5 years of experience within the Beauty, Fragrance, Luxury, or Travel Retail industry.
- Strong commercial acumen and a proven ability to drive sales performance.
- Experience in account management, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving capabilities.
- Client-centric approach with the ability to work effectively across diverse stakeholders and international environments.
- Fluent English is mandatory; additional languages are considered an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
