To support the growth and ambitions of the Maison, the new Merchandising department will have as its main missions to improve the effectiveness of the visible offer and the performance of the different product categories with the objective of sales development and strengthening the image of the Maison.

In close collaboration with the different central teams (Marketing Development and Clients, Commercial, Supply, Finance, Visual Merchandising and Store Design Planning), the Merchandising team deploys the product strategy and translates it into concrete actions. The merchandising team acts as a key support to the regions in the implementation and execution of their action plans.

KEY MISSIONS :

As Showroom project manager, you will be responsible for executing our cross-category showroom bi-annually at our Paris headquarters.

You will be responsible for the planning, the budget and flawless execution.

This role demands outstanding organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the capability to effectively lead projects within an environment where processes are still actively being shaped and improved.

Event Planning & Coordination:

  • Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of bi-annual showroom events, including calendar management, budget tracking, and comprehensive vendor coordination (e.g., catering, security, logistics, setup, technical support).
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing and your merchandising colleagues to understand showroom objectives and precise product presentation needs.
  • Develop detailed event timelines and checklists, adapting to evolving requirements and contributing to the establishment of new standards.
  • Proactively identify and resolve logistical challenges, demonstrating flexibility, resourcefulness, and a solution-oriented approach.

Showroom Setup :

  • Oversee the physical setup and dismantling of the showroom, ensuring strict adherence to brand standards and security protocols.
  • Develop and circulate the detailed event production planning minutes by minutes.
  • Coordinate all necessary equipment needs.
  • Maintain an organized, secure, and efficient showroom space.

Guest Experience & Support:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all showroom visitors (central and regional), ensuring a warm welcome and high service level.
  • Coordinate guest invitations, RSVP management, and efficient on-site registration processes.
  • Provide comprehensive on-site support during events, addressing any immediate needs or issues with professionalism and efficiency.

Administrative & Post-Event Management:

  • Manage all administrative tasks related to showroom operations.
  • Process invoices and manage expense reports related to showroom events with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Conduct thorough post-event debriefs, gather feedback from stakeholders, and propose actionable improvements for future events, contributing to the continuous refinement of our processes.

Soft Skills :

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, with a service-oriented mindset
  • Ability to interact with diverse stakeholders, from senior executives to external vendors.

Hard Skills :

  • Organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management toolset (Project planning /Gantt chart, budget planning, etc.)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

JOB PROFILE:

Experience: At least 3 years of experience in event coordination or external suppliers’ management or showroom management, or a similar role within the luxury, fashion, or high-end hospitality industry.

An experience or internship within a merchandising department is a plus.

Fluent in English. French speaking is a plus.
