Reporting to the President of Region Europe-CIS, the Managing Director Italy is the Ambassador of the Maison on the Italian Market,
She/he plays a pivotal role in representing the Maison towards team members, the Group, Clients, Media & Press, and is responsible for the market’s development. She/he holds a strategic position and is a point of reference for VCA International, Richemont & the local teams.
As the Managing Director of the Italian market, she/he builds visibility and influence across the country.
What are we expecting from you?
Key responsibilities:
Maison Ambassador & Client development
⁃Act as the Maison’s public face and support brand development across Italy
⁃Build and maintain a strong and high-end network (clients, media, cultural institutions, business communities…)
⁃Understand market clients' specificities and CRM levers
⁃Anchor sustainable local client development, especially HJ clients by defining an adequate strategy (CRM, after sales, e-business, etc.) and guaranteeing clients services & satisfaction excellence
⁃Engage actively in social and cultural circles to reinforce the Maison’s positioning and visibility
⁃Identify and nurture strategic partnerships for the Maison and L’Ecole
Operational and Business Management
In alignment with the Maison strategy and priorities:
⁃Participate in Europe Exco to discuss local challenges, budget planning, priorities & strategies
⁃Lead the yearly plan and budget process (Sales targets, A&P, Capex, FTEs)
⁃Monitor budgets, Boutiques performance and P&L
⁃Ensure compliance with Group and Maison guidelines and local regulations
⁃Lead execution of market initiatives and development roadmap
⁃Align local operations with strategic objectives and retail standards
People Management & Culture Development
⁃Attract, develop and retain team members by promoting a positive working environment, foster collaboration and proximity
⁃Manage, coach & develop team members as an inspiring leader, helping them to succeed in their roles & grow throughout their professional journey
⁃Promote a learning and high-performing culture across all teams
⁃Ensure strong governance and communication across all levels of the Market
⁃Anticipate organization changes to align with business trends and evolution
⁃Ensure proper communication, information flow across the teams and the Market

Profile:
⁃Solid understanding of the High Jewelry universe, client expectations and service excellence
⁃Proven leadership and commercial skills
⁃360 ° vision and strategic mindset to anticipate and identify opportunities
⁃Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Recognized as an inspiring Manager
⁃Excellent networking and partnership-building capabilities
⁃Fluent in English. Italian is a plus
