YOUR ROLE
We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented and analytical Business Performance Intern to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to business planning, forecasting, performance reporting and data analysis activities within an international luxury environment, providing exposure and cross-functional collaboration across HQ and regional teams.
The successful candidate will be eager to learn, possess strong analytical skills, and be proficient in supporting various operational and strategic initiatives.
PLAYING YOUR PART
BUSINESS PLANNING & FORECASTING
- You will support the preparation and consolidation of monthly forecasting cycles, budget and strategic plans
- You will perform data validation and consistency checks, to identify missing information, or inconsistencies before review
- You will prepare planning templates, trackers and supporting documentation to facilitate forecasting and business planning activities
PERFORMANCE REPORTING & ANALYSIS
- You will prepare recurring analyses to support performance monitoring and provide the analytical foundation for business reviews and performance discussions
- You will perform first-level variance analyses to identify significant business trends, anomalies and potential performance drivers, highlighting key observations for further review
- You will prepare charts, tables, and data visualizations for leadership presentations and performance reviews
DATA & REPORTING
- You will support the maintenance and continuous improvement of reporting tools and dashboards
- You will participate in testing and validating new reports and dashboards developed in Looker
- You will support the identification of opportunities to automate manual reporting activities and improve reporting efficiency
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL?
Success in this role will require:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering or similar
- A strong interest in commercial performance, business planning and analytics
- Proven ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends and generate actionable insights
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, knowledge of BI tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
- Proactive, enthusiastic, curious and agile personality
- A collaborative spirit, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders
- Fluency in English and French, other languages are a plus
